Antique Appraisal Day - Sep 15


The Franklin Historical Museum will host an antique appraisal day on Sunday September 15th from 1-3pm. Nancy Wyman, certified appraiser from Coyle’s Auction Gallery of Bellingham will appraise 2-3 items per person at a rate of $5.00 per item.

Coyle’s Auction Gallery is a family owned and operated antique auction company founded in 1985. They conduct monthly antique estate auctions at the Medway VFW Post 1526. They are licensed and bonded and have a nationwide advertising program that attracts buyers from around the country. Michael Coyle is the principal auctioneer and manager. His sister Nancy of Franklin is the auction coordinator. Nancy Wyman holds a BA from North Adams State College, is a graduate and instructor at the International Auction School in South Deerfield, MA and has completed a certification course from the Certified Appraisers Guild of America. Anything that you can carry in to the museum will be appraised, including Decorative Stoneware and Pottery; Vintage Clothing and Costume Jewelry; Fine China, glass and art glass; Oriental Rugs; Paintings and Prints; Objects D’art; Lamps, Clocks, Decorative Accessories; Hummels and Music Boxes; Sterling Silver, Pewter and Brass; American, Victorian and Country Furniture and Accessories; although no fine jewelry, no coins, no stamps and no weapons.

All proceeds from the day will benefit the Friends of the Franklin Historical Museum. The Museum is located at 80 West Central Street Franklin in the old Senior Center. Museum hours are Saturdays 10:00am – 1:00pm; Sundays 1:00-4:00pm and Thursdays 5:00-8:00pm.
