"it’s amazing to be in the national championship game"

In the 'where are they now' category, Hockomock Sports has an article reflecting on the soccer season that FHS alumni Kristi Kirshe just completed at Williams College.

In the span of a week, two former Hockomock League soccer stars helped lead their college teams to the Final Four. Although both would be denied a national championship in dramatic fashion, Kristi Kirshe at Williams College and Dominik Machado at Providence College were major parts of historic seasons for their respective programs.

“We only lost three seniors from last year,” said Kirshe, “so we had a strong returning group and right from the start everyone was pretty clear about our goal, which was the Final Four.” The Franklin alum added, “It’s always nice to have your hard work pay off.”
