"The Franklin Downtown Partnership will soon be decorating the downtown area for the holiday season - the first time it has done so since the completion of the area's streetscape project. 
Partnership members at the group's Thursday morning meeting said volunteers would be placing the decorations on the morning of Sunday, Nov. 20. 
"Hillside Nurseries will be providing the greens, bows and other decorations," said Eileen Mason, who is heading the effort. "We'll be sorting the greens on the Saturday before (the event)."
