FM #544 = This is the Franklin Matters radio show, number 544  in the series. 

This session of the radio show shares my conversation with Pandora Carlucci and Joni Magee, Board members of the Franklin Education Foundation (FEF). We had our conversation via virtual conference bridge to adhere to the ‘social distancing’ requirements of this pandemic period.

We talk about how the FEF supported the Franklin education with supplemental grants to teachers for educational enhancements. The grants total more than $400,000 since 1997.

Pandora was one of the founders of the FEF.

"Please join us at Tri-County Regional High School, located at 147 Pond Street, Franklin, MA.

The game begins at 7:00 PM and the doors will open at 6:00 PM. Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance. If available, tickets will be sold at the door for $14 for students and $17 for adults. An online processing fee of $1.25 per ticket will be added to your final total.

THE ONLINE BOX OFFICE FOR THIS EVENT CLOSES AT 11:59 PM THE NIGHT PRIOR TO THE GAME.

WHO: “Team FPS” will include teachers and staff from Franklin Public Schools. We sell out every year with a crowd of 1,200 students, parents and children!

WHY: FEF fundraisers have raised over $350,000 which has been distributed to Franklin Public Schools in the form of special grants. All Franklin Public School staff members are eligible to submit creative, innovative ideas for programs or activities that would not traditionally be funded by tax dollars.
