"The highest and best use for commercial 2 land is not a storage facility"

From the Milford Daily News, articles of interest for Franklin:

"The Town Council is considering a change to the areas where it allows storage facilities.
A zoning bylaw amendment currently before the council would allow such facilities in the town's industrial zone; they had been placed in the "commercial 2" zone before that. The council has already given preliminary approval to the matter.
Town Administrator Jeffrey Nutting told the council at its Feb. 15 meeting that the change reflects the reality in town, and would not have an impact on existing storage businesses.
"Currently, there are two storage facilities in the industrial zone," he said. "This would allow them in the industrial zone and allow expansion of the existing facilities, but it would prohibit them in commercial 2."

There will be time set aside for networking which will be followed by a more structured meeting to get your input about the group.
