One has been a te...Both my daughters are teachers. One has been a teacher in MA for over 20 years and the other is just starting a new career as a teacher in NH. During their workday they never have a moment to spare.....it is go,go,go! In the evening, they prepare for the next day and do paperwork. On some weekends, they also do paperwork and more class prep. They stay an extra week after school closes for the summer and return a week earlier at the end of summer. During the summer, they take enrichment classes, workshops, and sometimes will work towards a masters degree. They give everything they have to this job.<br /><br />So, the next time any of us think that teachers have an easy job with summers off and lots of down time, look at what teachers REALLY do for our children.rubyleohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14334833300200785400noreply@blogger.com
