In the spirit of open communication, “the Committee will hold a public participation segment (also called Citizen’s Comments) about matters not related to an agenda item at the beginning of each regular School Committee meeting. The Committee will listen to, but not respond to any comment made…. A Committee member may add an agenda item to a future meeting as a result of a citizen comment…. The Committee will hear public comments related to an agenda item when the Chair deems appropriate during the Committee meeting. Topics for discussion during the meeting must be limited to those items listed on the Committee meeting agenda for that evening…. ” - from Policy BEDHC. FHS Student Representative Comments

FM #718-719-720 = This is the Franklin Matters radio show, number 718-719-720 in the series.
This session shares part of the Franklin, MA Town Council meeting held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format: members of the Town Council and Town Administration personnel, the Police retirement and promotion individuals, along with their guest and family members were in the Council Chambers, some members of the public participated in person, some via the Zoom conference bridge, all to adhere to the ‘social distancing’ requirements of this pandemic period.
I’ve split the just almost three hour meeting ( 2:48 actual meeting time - excludes recess) into three (3) logical segments:
First - covers the opening, citizen comments and the recognition of Pricilla Cornetta; and the promotions of three Police Dept individuals (~51 mins) 2 minute recess called (which actually lasted in 6 minutes) https://franklin-ma-matters.captivate.fm/episode/fm-718-town-council-meeting-02-02-22-p1-of-3
Second - covers the Old South Meeting house discussion and subcommittee report (EDC Plus) (~ 42 minutes) https://franklin-ma-matters.captivate.fm/episode/fm-719-town-council-meeting-02-02-22-p2-of-3
Third - covers the Legislation for Action, Council Comments and the public meeting closes with the Council entering Executive Session not to return to open meeting (~ 1:14 ) https://franklin-ma-matters.captivate.fm/episode/fm-720-town-council-meeting-02-02-22-p3-of-3
