Summer STAR Classes Open for Registration!

Summer STAR Classes
for Entering Grades 3, 4, and 5
Students will learn the basics of measuring following a a recipe and cooking. Students will take turns being "Chef for the Day" to maximize the experience and fun.  We will also have time for some games and crafts.
July 11 to 15, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
Throughout history, the heroines of the American Girl book series have been brave, creative, responsible, and kind.  Come join us for a week of fun-filled activities as we celebrate the American Girl.  We will immense ourselves in crafts, cooking, tea parties, and games.

If you are looking to add a little "bling" to your daily wardrobe, look no further.  Learn to make bangle bracelets, duct tape beads, t-shirt headbands, infinity scarves and more!

This class allows students to gain confidence in singing, acting, improvisation, and choreographed movement along with performing in front of an audience. Students will work together to create small group songs and large groups songs that are coordinated by the teacher.  This is a 2-week class and culminates in a mini-musical revue for the parents.

Have you always wondered what it would be like to be in a Rock Band? Whether you have musical experience or not, we will create a rock band from scratch and put on a Rock Show at the end of the session. This is a 2-week class.

Come get your game on and have the opportunity to learn and play a variety of sports (baseball/softball, soccer, basketball, track & field, flag football and Parkour). Students will learn the specific skills, positions and strategies for each sport through drills, activities, and game-like scenarios. Additionally, students will use teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship as these values are the cornerstone for effective game play. This class is open to girls and boys of all skill levels. Do you know the difference between a Wookiee and an Ewok?  Then you should join us and show off your STAR Wars knowledge and skills, while having fun with other future Jedi.  Spend this awesome week of summer in a galaxy far, far away!

Keep the fun rolling with another week of sports. If you participated in USA 1.0, you'll be playing different games this week. Come make jewelry creations to BLING up your summer! Jewelry makers will create necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and so much more!

Video Star is the class for kids that want to dive into the world of making videos that go beyond simple point and shoot movies of cats on trampolines or whimsical sunsets.   Using a variety of video and still cameras, we will plan, shoot, and edit videos that touch the heart, stir the soul, and tickle the funny bone.  If you can think it, we can make the movie!

Use clay and other art materials to create one of a kind sculptures!

"Where science meets imagination." Make the science of Star Wars come to life while investigating the truth and fiction behind your favorite Star Wars movies. The Hoth system may be "far, far away", but there is plenty to create right here in Franklin.  Design, Build, Play and may the force be with you!

SEPAC Workshop - Mar 16; Comedy Fundraiser - Apr 1

Join us this WEDNESDAY, March 16th at 7:00 pm in the 3rd floor training room of the Franklin Municipal Building, 355 East Central Street for a workshop on Mass Health and CBHI (The Children's Behavioral Health Initiative) presented by representatives from You, Inc. SEPAC workshops are free and open to the public so please spread the word!

Please join the Franklin SEPAC at our annual fundraiser on April 1st, 2016 at 7:00 pm at CBS Scene in Foxboro. Signed Patriots gear, Red sox tickets, Disney tickets, hotel stays, family photo sessions, restaurant gift cards, hair and spa packages, golf and much more! 
Tickets for this event are $50 per person. Please contact Franklin SEPAC at franklinsepac@gmail.com to purchase tickets or go to www.franklinsepac.org to pay through PayPal. Tickets purchased on line will be available at the door on the evening of the event. 
Proceeds help us to fund monthly workshops educating parents on special-needs topics, run monthly support groups, and host periodic social events for children and their families. 
Franklin SEPAC also contributes an annual donation to Franklin's Special Education programs or local groups helping special needs children in the area such as Special Olympics, the Franklin Fish Swim Team, SenseAbility Gym and Best Buddies. 
We are a 501(c)(3) volunteer-run organization and rely on donations to help alleviate the costs of the above-mentioned programs.
