Memorial Day ceremony
Rep. Roy was delighted to offer remarks at the Franklin Memorial Day commemoration on the Town Common to honor the courage of those who faced unimaginable challenges on the battlefield, who stood firm in the face of adversity, and who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may live in peace and security.
At both a breakfast and column ceremony on the Town Common, Rep. Roy remembered their valor, their sacrifice, and their unwavering commitment to duty.
And he was proud to mention that in May, the House of Representatives passed the HERO Act. The bill, aptly titled: Honoring, Empowering and Recognizing Our service-members and veterans expands access to supports and benefits for veterans in the Commonwealth.
