FHS Field hockey, golf, and volleyball teams all post wins on Monday

Field Hockey = North Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 10 – Final
– Franklin exploded for four goals in the opening quarter and built a commanding lead by halftime on its way to a big win over North Attleboro. The Panthers spread the offense around, with Penelope Brady netting a hat trick, Ella Marzullo scoring twice and adding an assist, and Lila Reardon and Addi Weiss each recording a goal and assist. Lily Aparo, Kiley Silvestri, Clara Blongastainer, and Amelia Manning all chipped in offensively as Franklin kept the pressure on throughout. Devon Barry made three saves in net to secure the shutout

Volleyball = North Attleboro, 0 @ Franklin, 3 – Final
– Franklin put together a balanced offensive attack and cruised to a sweep at home over North Attleboro (25–8, 25–7, 25–14). Freshman setter Phoebe O’Connor spread the ball around with 26 assists and six digs, setting up senior Makayla Kuykendall for 17 kills and 10 digs and sophomore Emerson Delleo for six kills, three aces, and nine digs. Junior Gianna Laurello chipped in seven kills and two blocks, while senior Olivia Alberti added four kills and two blocks. For North Attleboro, Lincoln Abramaitys recorded 10 digs and Ava Kraskouskas finished with seven digs.

Golf = Franklin, 147 @ Attleboro, 163 – Final
– Franklin put together a strong showing on the road at Stone-E-Lea, pulling away for a 147–163 win over Attleboro. Junior Ben Burgess led the way with a medalist round of 35 that featured a birdie on the fifth hole, while senior Gabe Rodrigues (37, birdies on three and six) and sophomore Bryce Botehlo (37) each turned in steady rounds. Senior Dylan O’Brien (birdies on five and seven) and junior Tyler Perlman both shot 38 to help the Panthers secure the win. For Attleboro, senior Jackson Deyesso carded a team-low 37, with Wes Butler (41), Cam Elliott (42), and Nick Friess (43) rounding out the scoring for the Bombardiers.
