Franklin Planning Board: public hearing scheduled for August 24 for the Depot Plaza development proposal

In accordance with the Town of Franklin Zoning By-Laws, the Franklin Planning Board will hold a public hearing at the Town Hall (and can also be attended remotely) on Monday, August 24 at 7:00 PM in the Town Council Chambers of the Franklin Municipal Building, 355 East Central Street, for a Special Permit and Site Plan Application titled “Franklin Plaza A Mixed Use Development” prepared by Guerriere & Halnon, Inc., Milford, MA, and submitted to the Department of Planning & Community Development on August 4, 2026, by Fourzol, LLC, Franklin, MA.

The property is located in the Downtown Commercial Zoning District (Assessors Map 279 Lots 172 and 173) at 9, 13 and 15 Main Street. The applicant is proposing to construct a four-story mixed-use building with associated parking, landscaping and utilities. 

The applicant is applying for two (2) Special Permits under Chapter 185: Attachment 9: Schedule of Lot, Area, Frontage, Yard and Height requirements, and Attachment 7: Use Regulations Schedule Part VI.

Planning Board vote to continue this Public Hearing, the date and time will be
posted on the Planning Board’s website under Agendas.
