Boys Soccer = Franklin, 0 @ Milford, 3 – Final
– After falling to Franklin during the regular season, Milford earned some bragging rights in the rematch against the team it shared the Kelley-Rex title with. The sides went into halftime scoreless with just one real chance apiece, but the Scarlet Hawks took control after the break with a strong team performance. Senior Gio Cappelli opened the scoring from the penalty spot after junior Lucas Rezende did well to earn the call, and junior Marcos Da Silva doubled the lead with a first-time finish off a cross from senior Mayck Moreira. Da Silva then delivered the corner that senior Gui Quaresma finished to cap the win.
Girls Soccer = Sharon, 1 @ Franklin, 4 – Final
– Franklin scored the opening four goals of the match to sweep the season series with the Eagles and continue its push for a top four seed in D1. Lily Strong got the opening goal in the ninth minute. She received a pass from Pheobe Cuneo in the box with two defenders on her back, but managed to spin and squeeze a shot between them and inside the far post. With 13 minutes remaining in the half, BB Vallee slipped a pass to Sophia Horton in space about 25 yards from goal and she ripped a shot that the keeper couldn’t keep out to double the Franklin lead. Laila Rosen scored twice in the second half, the first on a trademark shot from distance that soared into the top corner (assisted by Emmalee Doyle) and the second on a low free kick from the right wing that found its way over the line. Sharon scored seconds after the restart. Megan Pinnix made a run down the right side and cut the ball back to the spot for a one-time finish from Penny Wooden.
