Franklin TV: A Look Inside the First Edition of FM Journal

The September premiere of FM Journal will explore some of the people and places that give Franklin its unique character.

Viewers will meet a local family whose home has become a haven for animals in need, before going behind the scenes at a Franklin business where craftsmanship, technology, and creativity come together.

The program will also visit the Franklin Public Library for an educational experience featuring some rather unusual - and very large - guests.

Two September stories will focus on community, connection, and remembrance, including a new downtown public art installation and Franklin's annual September 11th remembrance ceremony.

The program will also introduce viewers to Jenna Reilly, the new executive director of the Franklin Downtown Partnership. As she begins her new role, Reilly is looking ahead to opportunities for downtown Franklin - including the return of the community's popular Harvest Fest.

Together, the stories offer a snapshot of the many different ways people are contributing to life in Franklin.

More Stories. More Voices. More Franklin. At its heart, FM Journal is about connection.

It's about discovering the people behind local organizations, learning more about the businesses operating right here in town, celebrating community traditions, and finding the stories that might otherwise go unnoticed.

The program will evolve each month, with new guests, features, community stories, and conversations. Residents are also invited to be part of the process.

Have a community story, local event, organization, business, person, or idea that you think should be featured? Franklin TV welcomes story suggestions, interview requests, and community updates.
