Elgar has put as much time into his rehabilitation as he did for his wrestling workouts. Last year, he was the state vocational wrestling champion, winning the Division 3 Central Sectional at 106 pounds.
It’s not surprising, Carlucci said, given Elgar’s character.
"Ritchie will be successful in whatever he does," he said.
