The Pumpkins Are Here! Time To Decorate!

The pumpkins are  at St. John’s Episcopal Church now through Halloween

The pumpkin patch returns to St John's for October!

Come visit the 6th Annual Pumpkin Patch at St. John’s Episcopal Church at 237 Pleasant Street, Franklin. It will be open through Oct. 31.

A huge selection of pumpkins, gourds and colorful mum plants will fill the front lawn at St. John’s Church. Kids will have fun picking out their favorites. It’s a cute photo opportunity for families and a good time to start decorating for autumn.

Open 7 days a week, here’s the schedule:

• Monday-Friday 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Saturdays 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Sundays Noon - 4:00 PM
• Monday October 13, open all day from 10 AM to 5 PM

The pumpkins are grown using sustainable agricultural practices that help benefit the environment. They are grown in a region of New Mexico with 42% unemployment, providing jobs for Navajo people. Proceeds from pumpkin & plant sales benefit the Navajo Nation in New Mexico as well as St. John’s Church and its service in the Franklin community.

This is the beginning of our Program Year, when we welcome back our choir (and perhaps some parishioners) from Summer vacation, offer a special blessing for teachers and students beginning the new school year, and enjoy ICE CREAM sundaes after worship. 

If you've been thinking about checking us out, this will be a good day to do it. Everyone is invited, every Sunday!

 

Our Pumpkin Patch will open on Sunday, September 28^th at 12 Noon

…and be open every day through Halloween. Watch for notices about hours and special events.
