FHS field hockey, volleyball and golf teams all post wins on Wednesday

Via Instagram, Franklin TV, and our subscription to HockomockSports.com, we share the results of the Fall sports competition for Franklin High School on Wednesday, September 16, 2026

Field Hockey = Franklin, 7 @ Sharon, 0 – Final 
– Franklin struck three times in the opening quarter and then slammed the door with three more in the fourth to earn a shutout win on the road. Sophomore Amelia Manning scored twice in the first, senior Ella Marzullo added a goal, and junior Penelope Brady completed a hat trick with one in the third and two more in the fourth. Marzullo later added another goal and an assist, while Manning and sophomore Lila Reardon also picked up assists.

Volleyball = Franklin, 3 @ Sharon, 0 – Final 
– The Panthers used another balanced effort to stay perfect, sweeping Kelley-Rex challenger Sharon, 3-0 (25-14, 25-14, 25-20). Phoebe O’Connor stuffed the stat sheet with 25 assists, eight aces, and 10 digs, while Emerson Delleo added eight kills, two aces, and 10 digs. Gianna Laurello chipped in seven kills and 11 digs, Marley Lindenmeyer had five kills, an ace, and five digs, and Charlotte Yeulenski finished with four kills, two aces, and three blocks. Genevieve Camire added four blocks, while Kaylyn Arienti and Katelynn Crosby combined for six aces and 17 digs. For the Eagles, Katarina Budovalcev reached the 500-assist milestone and finished with 17 assists and six digs, Lucy Leonardi had seven kills and 15 digs, Lia Zephrani added five kills, and Eva Lobo Delaney recorded seven digs.

Golf = Franklin, 153 @ Sharon, 174 – Final 
– Sophomore Albie Lomberto fired an even-par 36 to earn match medalist honors and lead Franklin past Sharon at the Cape Club of Sharon. Lomberto highlighted his round with a birdie on four, while senior Tyler Perlman carded a 38 with a birdie on one and senior Ben Burgess shot 39 with a birdie on seven. Junior Bryce Botelho rounded out the Panthers’ scoring with a 40 that included six pars. For the Eagles, senior Chase Coffman led the way with a 39, junior Griffin Weiner added a 43, and senior Kuvum Suppal finished with a 44.
