Boys Soccer = Franklin, 2 @ Brockton, 1 – Final
– Franklin scored a pair of goals in the second half to erase a halftime deficit and grab two points on the road at Marciano Stadium in Brockton. The Boxers took the lead just past the midway point of the first half on a free kick and carried that 1-0 advantage into the halftime break. The Panthers erased that deficit just 30 seconds into the second half when Cooper Waddell’s service found Will McAuley in the area. McAuley’s bid was blocked but Ethan Herndon got just enough of his one-time volley to sneak one under the keeper to make it 1-1. The winner came with just under five minutes to as Matthew MacNeil rose up to win a header just outside the box that bounced to Jake Boyd and his shot deflected off the defender and into the net to put the visitors ahead for good. Drew Klawson played well in net in his first varsity game.
Field hockey = Franklin, 6 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final
– Senior Ella Marzullo reached 100 career points as Franklin came flying out of the gates and rolled past Stoughton. Marzullo hit the milestone with the Panthers’ fourth goal of a four-goal opening quarter, then added another in the third to finish with two goals. Sophomore Cade Taccini, junior Clara Blongastainer, and sophomore Amelia Manning also scored in the first, while sophomore Riley Goodman added a second-quarter goal. Junior Penelope Brady helped drive the attack with four assists, including both of Marzullo’s goals.
Volleyball = Franklin, 3 @ Stoughton, 0 – Final
