Think you can avoid the Franklin TV camera? Think again!

Our Franklin TV crew will be out and about with RJ Sheedy, hitting the festival grounds for some good old-fashioned man-on-the-street interviews.

We'll be asking festival-goers questions, getting reactions, finding out what everyone is enJoy1ng, and hopefully catching a few unexpected answers along the way. You never know when you might find yourself on Franklin TV - so keep an eye out for our crew!

And remember: if you see a camera pointed your way, just go with it.

Tyler talked with Liz and Cory Shea from the @townoffranklinma about two exciting upcoming events in Franklin — Franklin Restaurant Week, running from May 31st through June 6th, and the 3rd Annual Franklin Porchfest happening Saturday, June 6th from 12 PM–6 PM! 

The conversation highlighted the incredible local restaurants participating in Restaurant Week, as well as the live music, community atmosphere, and neighborhood performances that continue to make Porchfest one of Franklin’s most anticipated events of the year.

"Maloney Farm and Forest" can use your help

"If you know us, you know that we rescue/adopt farm animals and have them live out their golden years at our home. It was a rough winter on our yard supplies and animal housing/shelters, we took on some new animals in the fall that needed homes and to be loved forever. 

We are asking for help, and our ask is simple, as your cleaning out your garages, basements and sheds, if you have any items that you were looking to get rid of, please consider messaging us so we can pick them up. 

We are specifically looking for:

• Plywood, 2x4s and scrap wood
• yard tools, like shovels and rakes 
• Hoses, any length
• Fence panels
• Cinder blocks, rubber or concrete pavers
• Small kiddie pools

Franklin Police Officers Luther and McVicar interview on MyFM in the Morning (audio)

During the Blizzard of ’26, Franklin Police Officers Luther and McVicar stepped up when their community needed them most. After receiving a call from an elderly couple dealing with serious illnesses, the officers responded — only to find the request was for something simple, yet essential: a carton of milk and help clearing their driveway.

Without hesitation, they delivered.

It’s a powerful reminder that being a first responder is about more than emergencies — it’s about showing up for your community in every way possible.

This year we have a generous slate of candidates (fifteen, a record number) for Town Council and other key offices. Franklin folks are stepping up. There’ll be lots of names to check off (carefully) on your ballot, come November 4th.

As Franklin’s own self-styled Community Information Director (volunteer), Steve Sherlock has been unusually busy this season. The tall challenge? Make sure every candidate that wished to be heard – is heard. At this point Steve’s daunting task has now been accomplished.

We all love binge watching our fave TeeVee shows. In fact, Hollywood streamers were taken aback by just how long a TeeVee audience would actually stay engaged. Turns out that in a world of distractions we actually do have attention ‘spans’. They were not prepared to feed such high, sustained program consumption.
