Porchfest is coming back to Franklin, MA!! 

PorchFest is an outdoor music event that will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM with a rain date of June 7.

Come spend the day in Franklin's beautiful Cultural District while listening to live music. Sole performers and full bands of all genres will be performing on porches and patios throughout the Cultural District. This walkable event is also the perfect opportunity to check out our local shops and restaurants. Public bathrooms will be available.

If you would like to host a band or performer on your Porch or if you have a band or are a performer and would be interested in performing at Franklin PorchFest, go to Franklin PorchFest and register for the event.  All the information you need to register is on our website Franklin PorchFest. We are a "GO" with the Franklin Porchfest event this Saturday!  This outdoor music event that will be held on Saturday, June 7 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Come spend the day in Franklin’s beautiful Cultural District while listening to live music. Musicians and bands of all genres will be performing on porches and patios throughout the district. This walkable event is also the perfect opportunity to check out our local shops and restaurants. 

Franklin PorchFest is made possible with investment funds granted from the Mass Cultural Council through the Franklin Cultural District Committee and the Town of Franklin. 

• Notes from the Porchfest Planning Crew The event is totally free, listen to as many bands are you like - there is no cost. The only thing we ask is that you attend as many performances as you can and bring a chair or a blanket to enjoy the performance.

• In the event the June 7 date is rained out, the Franklin PorchFest will be moved to Sunday, June 8  from 12 – 6 PM. In the event of cancellation, we will update the Porchfest website to reflect this no later than by 6:00 PM the night before the scheduled event date.

It's been one week from Franklin's inaugural PorchFest - and we'd like YOUR feedback - whether you attended the event hours, just saw clips on Instagram (or another social site); we'd love to hear your engagement in how we can make this event the best it can be.

Franklin PorchFest deemed a success (photo essay)

So what happens when more than 50 performers set up on more than 30 porches to sing and entertain all comers in Franklin, MA on Saturday, June 1?

Lots of folks had a great time!

From bagpipes to rock, folk to jazz, you name it some music was there for everyone to choose from.

Meredith McKunes and I split up to cover as many of the performances as we could. Stay tuned for the video output. There are a few hours to edit and prepare.
