June 6th is our annual Fishing Derby! Just $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and younger on gorgeous Uncas Pond, which was recently stocked with 1,200 trout.
There will be cash prizes for adults coming in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for biggest fish but all kids 16 and younger get trophies. We'll have free use of bait, gear, boats, rods & reels while supplies last. You can bring your own (non-motorized) boat as well and launch from our beach or public access road.
We'll have an all-you-can-eat breakfast for $5 or, if you don't want that, breakfast sandwiches for sale that you can bring with you while you fish. There will also be a free pizza lunch.
Raffles will be taking place throughout the day as well. It's a time-honored Franklin tradition and we can't wait to see you out there. Tight lines!!
