Rod & Gun Club to skip breakfast in September 2026

Hi folks. We have some bad news.

It doesn't look like we're going to be able to hold our all-you-can-eat breakfast this month (Sept. 20) due to ongoing work being done at the club.

We're really, really sorry. Believe us, we love hosting you just as much as you love eating here. But, as with all projects, you run into unforeseen roadblocks and work tends to take a little longer than expected.

But October is a definite so mark Oct. 18 on your calendar and we'll be back with a vengeance!

Sorry about that and we miss you, but we'll see you soon.

Bring the family, take a photo with the Cup, and help support the FHS Varsity Hockey Team as they work toward getting to the Sacred Heart Holiday Tournament.

Our monthly all-you-can-eat breakfast is this Sunday, July 19th from 7:30-11 am at 53 Florence St. in Franklin - and it's only $10 ($5 for kids 12 and younger).

Yup, that's right. TEN BUCKS will get you all the eggs, home fries, sausage, pancakes, French Toast, corned beef hash, baked beans, and coffee/juice you can handle.

Delicious food at a price that literally doesn't exist anywhere else. That's our commitment to you and has been for years, so come down and say hello and enjoy some good food from good folks in who live right here in the community.

Franklin Rod And Gun Club schedules annual Fishing Derby - June 6

June 6th is our annual Fishing Derby! Just $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and younger on gorgeous Uncas Pond, which was recently stocked with 1,200 trout.

There will be cash prizes for adults coming in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for biggest fish but all kids 16 and younger get trophies. We'll have free use of bait, gear, boats, rods & reels while supplies last. You can bring your own (non-motorized) boat as well and launch from our beach or public access road.

We'll have an all-you-can-eat breakfast for $5 or, if you don't want that, breakfast sandwiches for sale that you can bring with you while you fish. There will also be a free pizza lunch.

Raffles will be taking place throughout the day as well. It's a time-honored Franklin tradition and we can't wait to see you out there. Tight lines!!

We love it. You love it. Everyone waits for it all year long.

Our annual Turkey Shoot is back on Nov. 22!

A $1 donation gets you free admission at which point you can buy as many tickets as you want and enter raffles to win 10 turkeys! There will also be two door prizes consisting of turkeys and baskets with all the fixins' and when we say ALL the fixins' we mean people with small cars will struggle to fit these suckers inside!

There's also free pizza and hotdogs, snacks, and cider (with a cash bar for the 21+ crowd). Kids can also participate in an air rifle competition in our downstairs range for $1 per attempt, with the winners also getting turkeys.

Honestly, even if you don't win you're gonna have a lot of fun. So come join us on Nov. 22 at 6 pm when the cash bar opens, and stay for the raffles starting at 7 pm.
