Postponed: Old Colony Habitat - Franklin Open House - new date TBD


We are writing to inform you that we must postpone our Franklin Open House scheduled this Saturday, 1/31/2026.

 

Due to parking concerns and the possibility of additional snow this weekend, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the event to a future date. We want to ensure the safety of our volunteers, staff, and community. We apologize for this last-minute change and for any inconvenience it causes.

 

We're working to reschedule – stay tuned for a new date soon! We appreciate your understanding and are grateful for your continued support of our mission to build affordable homes!

FHS girls and boys lacrosse teams both top Mansfield on Wednesday

Via HockomockSports.com, we share the results of the FHS spring sports action on Wednesday: 

Boys Lacrosse = Mansfield, 5 @ Franklin, 19 – Final 
– Jayden Consigli scored five goals and dished out six assists while Luke Davis found the back of the net five times with two helpers to lead the Panthers to another Hockomock League win. Tyler Sacchetti added three goals and two assists while Drew Hansen recorded three assists.

Girls Lacrosse = Franklin, 20 @ Mansfield, 2 – Final 
– The Panthers had 11 different players make their way onto the score sheet and used a dominate performance on the draw to get a win on the road. Brigid Early made five saves and Ella Mahoney made two stops to combine for the win in net while the Panthers had 16 draw controls as a team.

Boys Tennis = Franklin @ King Philip – Postponed to Thursday, May 19 at 3:45.
Girls Tennis = King Philip @ Franklin – Postponed to Thursday, May 19 at 3:45.
Baseball = King Philip @ Franklin – Postponed to Saturday, 5/7 at 7:00.
Softball = Franklin @ King Philip – Postponed to Thursday, May 26 at 3:45.

LiveARTS String Quartet performance postponed to TBD

As a result of the recent upsurge in the Omicron variant, First Universalist Society in Franklin is not permitting any gatherings in its Meetinghouse for the foreseeable future. 

Therefore, the LiveARTS concert scheduled for Sunday, January 30, will be postponed to a later date (TBD).

Electric Youth shows postponed to Feb 26, 2022

"Electric Youth 2022 debuts at THE BLACK BOX with two shows on Saturday, February 26th at 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm, offering high-powered family entertainment with music for all ages! Backed by an eight-piece band of world-class musicians, EY delivers high-energy music, including contemporary pop, classic rock and country hits. 

Electric Youth 2022 includes Erin Belger, Tzintli Cerda, Devin DeAngelis, Finley Doherty, Hayley Driscoll, John Fitzhenry, Anya Fox, Sami Goldman,  Tatiana McAlpine, Audrey Miningham, Ashley Pepin, Abby Settle, Abby Trombert, and Madigan Wirkus,

Good evening Franklin,

Unfortunately tonight's (July 22, 2020) Town Council meeting will need to be postponed until next Wednesday July 29th, due to technical difficulties with the live stream. We apologize for any inconvenience. To Attendees and Volunteers: Music4Kids Benefit Concert 2020 - COVID-19 Precautions

Please be advised that in the interest of public safety, and according to recommendations from the CDC and the Governor's Office regarding COVID-19, we have decided to postpone the Sugar Ray and Mike Welch, Veronica Lewis, Nolan Leite Experience benefit concert.  

We will honor all tickets purchased for the new concert date.  We will be in touch as soon as we have the new date confirmed.
