FANN Steering Committee has provided two updates for review and action

Dear FANN Members,

The FANN Steering Committee has been working diligently since our formation and we have completed two tasks in draft form and need your input.

Action 1 - Please review (in prep for discussion at Aug 23 meeting)

Below is a draft of the FANN Mission Statement, Vision Statement, and Core Values.  These are very important to set the future for the organization as well as lay out how we expect to conduct ourselves going forward.

Mission Statement:
Creating a forum to align Franklin area nonprofit organizations to identify opportunities for collaboration and to share information, resources and expertise.

Vision Statement:
Franklin will be a community where nonprofit organizations work together for the greater good of its residents.
Core Values:
  • Diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Collaboration and partnership
  • Conducting ourselves with integrity and authenticity
  • Respect for each other and the community whom we serve
  • Focusing on the dignity and well-being of Franklin residents
  • Compassionately listening to residents' needs.
  • Problem identification and resolution
  • Being nice to each other

Action 2 - Please respond to survey

The second item is a Google survey seeking information about your needs related to securing grants for your organizations.  This will give the steering committee more guidance on the content for a potential grant working group and to set appropriate goals and boundaries for the working group efforts.
