**Announcing** Aleksandr Polyakov, Pianist - Nov  19
Come and join us at Murray Unitarian Universalist Church in AttleboroSUNDAY November 19th at 3:00 PM for a recital by renowned pianist Aleksandr Polyakov.
Due to extenuating circumstances, William Hite's performance of "Die Winterreise" will be postponed to a later date.

Aleksandr Polyakov is a Ukrainian-American educator, concert pianist, and orchestral conductor with an international reputation for his remarkable virtuosity, command of sonority, and innovative pedagogical approaches.
He has performed as soloist with numerous orchestras including the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, and the Boston Ballet Orchestra

The prize-winner of more than 20 international competitions, his notable prizes include third prize at the ninth International Liszt Competition (Netherlands), second prize at the sixth International Liszt Competition (Germany), and first prize at the Steinway Society Competition (Boston).
In additional to his work as a pianist, Dr. Polyakov has an international conducting career, frequently leading opera productions and collaborating with symphonic orchestras. During the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons he has served as a cover conductor for the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
Dr. Polyakov is also a pedagogue and has taught at Music Fest Perugia and given masterclasses in the U.S., China and Europe. He has served as an associate music director for the "Sweet Charity" production at Boston Conservatory at Berklee.

Come and hear the music of Robert and Clara Schumann performed by celebrated pianist Leslie Amper!

Join us SUNDAY October 15th at 3:00 PM

Program will including Kreisleriana, Robert Schumann's masterpiece for piano, as well as a live accompaniment to Lotte Reiniger's silent film Stolen Heart.
Pianist and multi-media artist Leslie Amper is recognized nationally as a one-of-a kind performing artist. She began her career with a critically acclaimed New York debut in Carnegie Recital Hall.

She was a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts solo recitalist grant, and has toured in Boston, New York, Pittsburgh, and Washington D.C. Equally adept at accompanying silent film, she has compiled piano accompaniments for the Harvard Film Archives.

Leslie Amper is also a faculty member of the New England Conservatory Preparatory Department and a Professor at Wheaton College, Massachusetts.

LiveARTS Concert Series expands by collaborating with Chaminade Club of Attleboro & Schubert Club of Providence

Dear Friends, 
 
The LiveARTS Concert Series is expanding. This season, we are teaming up with the Chaminade Club of Attleboro and the Schubert Club of Providence to provide you with more opportunities to hear great music in our communities.
 
LiveARTS will continue to present outstanding musicians one would expect to hear in New York or Boston, and through our partner organizations, we will also promote concerts that include community-based performances.

Our season kicks off with the pianist Leslie Amper performing works of Robert and Clara Schumann on Sunday, October 15th at the First Universalist Society in Franklin (262 Chestnut St.) at 3:00 PM. This performance is particularly noteworthy as Leslie will also accompany a silent movie which will be quite fun and interesting.
 
On Sunday, November 19th, the concert series shifts to the Murray Unitarian Universalist Church in Attleboro (505 North Main St.) for a 3:00 PM.  performance by the renowned William Hite, tenor, with me accompanying in Schubert’s brilliant song cycle, Winterreise. 
 
Boston Symphony Orchestra violinist Victor Romanul returns to the LiveARTS stage with his wife, pianist Lisa Romanul, in works by Mozart, Paganini, Kreisler, and Sousa on Sunday, March 24 at 3:00 PM at the First Universalist Society in Franklin. 
 
Our season concludes with our Young Artists Showcase:  young artist students of remarkable local teachers representing LiveARTS, the Chaminade Clubs of Attleboro and Providence, the Schubert Club, and the Chopin Club of Providence. Hear some astounding performances by emerging young artists of the next generation on Sunday, May 19th at 3:00 PM at the First Universalist Society in Franklin!

The Chaminade Club will also offer an array of concerts including the Borromeo Quartet violinist Nicholas Kitchen, violin, and Ann Sears, piano, in a performance of Mozart, Beethoven, and American composers Clarence Cameron White and Amy Beach, on Sunday, January 28th at 3 PM at the Murray Church in Attleboro.

Come and hear the renowned pianist  Victor Rosenbaum perform a free concert of music by Schubert!
Join us Sunday at 3:00 PM 
at the Music Mansion in Providence, RI
Internationally known pianist and teacher, Victor Rosenbaum, has been a mainstay of Boston's musical community for more than five decades.
In the words of the Boston Globe, Rosenbaum "makes up for all the drudgery the habitual concert-goer has to endure in the hope of finding the real, right thing".
Rosenbaum has concertized widely as soloist and chamber musician in the United States, Europe, Israel, Brazil, Russia, and Asia (including 25 annual trips to Japan) in such prestigious halls as Tully Hall in New York and the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, Russia.
