Soprano Louise Toppin scheduled to performing a LiveARTS concert
Come and hear celebrated soprano Louise Toppin perform a program of American music with LiveARTS artistic director, pianist Ann Sears.
SUNDAY, April 16th at 3:00 PM
Coloratura soprano Louise Toppin has built an internationally lauded career as a performer, scholar, and educator.
A finalist in the Munich International Competition, Ms. Toppin has given performances at such celebrated venues as Carnegie Hall, Merkin HallLincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. She has also performed before President Obama and Congress at the US Capitol in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the 13th amendment. 
Outside of her performing career, Ms. Toppin has appeared on NPR's All Things Considered for their presentation on American composer Margaret Bonds. She currently teaches at the University of Michigan.

LiveARTS String Quartet plus
Victor Rosenbaum, piano

Music of Britten, Barber, Brahms, Mozart, and
Vaughan Williams.
What makes this concert MAGICAL?
 
We celebrate the legacy of LiveARTS Artist of the Year, Victor Rosenbaum, piano, who joins the LiveARTS String Quartet as they play the magnificent Brahms Piano Quintet in F minor. 

On September 17 Maestro Rosenbaum celebrated his long tenure at New England Conservatory and his 80th birthday with a brilliant recital in Jordan Hall, and this is your chance to hear him in a live, intimate chamber music setting. 

BREAKING NEWS:  he will join LiveARTs again on
Nov. 6 for a solo recital before setting off on a flurry of international recitals and masterclasses in Japan, Vienna, Israel, and Taiwan.  Don't miss the opportunity to hear him TWICE this fall!
