Why are there multiple calendars?

Respectfully, the Library and Senior Center calendars are too full of events to include all their events so we tend to focus on the major events. Town and School meetings are also kept separate. Links for all the calendars are shared here:

FM #1415 = This is the Franklin Matters radio show, number 1415 in the series.

This session shares my conversation with Quinten Jones, originally from Winchester, VA and a senior at Dean College.  We had our discussion in person in the Franklin TV & Radio Studio on Friday, March 21, 2025.

We cover

  • The course requirements to prepare and conduct an event

  • Flag football tournament chosen

  • Hockomock YMCA in Franklin to benefit from proceeds

 D1 State Championship (Pantherbook image)
"Last Sunday, the FHS Boys Basketball team beat Newton North 55-52 at the Tsongas Center and became the Division 1 state champions.

Despite losing a talented senior class, the boys came back stronger than ever. After a season with only one loss and the number one seed, the team looked to redeem their loss in the finals in 2024, and they delivered. To get to the championship this year, the team won in a tough game against Central Catholic 52-44. "
