Come and hear celebrated soprano Louise Toppin perform a program of American music with LiveARTS artistic director, pianist Ann Sears.

Coloratura soprano Louise Toppin has built an internationally lauded career as a performer, scholar, and educator.
A finalist in the Munich International Competition, Ms. Toppin has given performances at such celebrated venues as Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. She has also performed before President Obama and Congress at the US Capitol in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the 13th amendment.
Outside of her performing career, Ms. Toppin has appeared on NPR's All Things Considered for their presentation on American composer Margaret Bonds. She currently teaches at the University of Michigan.
