no plans for the space other than adding it, can use for development, doesn't have enough frontage to do so

do have other leases for cell towers on our water tank, doesn't interfere, $50K/year with escalator, revenue to the town; 4 currently, one expiring; would go out for new leases; new leases have different mounting requirements

  • additional State aid to be applied to School budget
  • increase Town Admin salaries, decrease Planning Dept, switching dollars to save money overall 
  • Police salaries, 2 known retirements, take a year to hire off the list, proposing to hire in advance to get the training ahead of the retirements
  • asking for 9K to replace the canine who passed suddenly
FinCom approved by 6-0 vote

Police has done well with transfers, but would like to use the list
16 weeks as a patrol dog first, then trained for narcotics
only one here is needed, we can get mutual aid for when needed

$550K to be raised an appropriated for public way improvements
potential listing of streets drafted, sewer/water listing being finalized and will be brought to the Council for review

FinCom approved by 6-0 vote

this would be the full utilization of the hotel tax

discussed at EDC meeting previously, could be a good option for the buyer to get the land reasonably and then still have the requirement to do the brown field fixes as needed
