Register O'Donnell Announces REBA Meeting Being Held at Registry
Register of Deeds William P. O'Donnell is pleased to announce that the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts (REBA) will hold its next breakfast meeting at the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds at 8:30A.M. on October 11th. The Registry is located at 649 High Street in Dedham. The meeting will be held in the Hannon Annex on the basement level.
Register O'Donnell noted, "I am delighted that REBA has chosen the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds to hold their upcoming meeting. The Registry values its relationship with REBA and other key stakeholders in the real estate and lending industries. REBA has been an outstanding leader in its field for more than 150 years and does a wonderful job in promoting and educating its members."
The meeting, sponsored by Herbert H. Landry Insurance Agency and Belmont Savings Bank, will include an overview of issues important to REBA members along with an update on legislation before the Massachusetts legislature affecting real estate conveyancing. The meeting will also include a discussion on the Commonwealth's new marijuana law and its impact on condominium living.
All REBA members and guests are welcome, regardless of their practice concentration. The program is free of charge. Interested participants are requested to RSVP by October 6th to Nicole Cohen at cohen@reba.net.
