To the Tri-County Community,
We are off on another school year adventure! It's like starting two school years here at TC an "A" school year and a "B" school year. Forty-two seniors got off to a quick start this week with Cooperative Education working full-time at a number of different local companies. Many other seniors are in the process of getting approved for Co-op as well. Our freshmen have survived one exploratory cycle last week and begin their academics in earnest this week. We welcomed Mr. Silva, our new Asst. Principal, to TC a couple of weeks ago. Mr. Silva has blended right in getting to know the students and teachers.
All of our fall athletic programs have begun their season including our new Girls Junior Varsity Soccer Team. We wish Coach Martin well in their first season. Our clubs and activities are getting underway with many students taking advantage of the opportunity to participate. Fall is always a very busy time at TC with the next two weeks bringing our freshmen-junior Parent Orientation this week and our sophomore-senior Parent Orientation next week. We will be holding our annual Showcase Spectacular this year on Saturday, November 4 th. The Showcase Spectacular is an event for all people in our communities to visit Tri-County and see all the great career-focused programs we have to offer. We hope to see you and your family there.
Lastly, the 2017-18 school year will be a New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) self-study year as we will have our decennial accreditation visit next school year. The NEASC self-study will take up most of our early release days.
Thanks for your support,
Mr. Procaccini
