Children’s Museum of Franklin Gala is happening Thursday, April 11 at THE BLACK BOX. Will you be there?

The first benefit event for Children's Museum of Franklin, the Night at the Museum Gala, is coming up Thursday, April 11!

This will be a celebratory evening of friends, exhibit play, live jazz music, food, and conversation! Beyond a fun night out, your attendance is instrumental to the Children's Museum of Franklin.

Just another reason to plan to attend with friends – group ticket packages are available. If you are unable to attend on April 11, please consider supporting us in the following ways:
  • Donate to the Children's Museum of Franklin. Donations of every amount add up and will be what opens our doors full-time!
  • Spread the word. Encourage your friends, family and neighbors to attend the Gala or to donate to this cause.
  • Bid on amazing packages in our Online Silent Auction. The auction runs through April 11.
Get your tickets for the Gala -> https://www.childrensmuseumfranklin.org/gala

It is community participation and support that will bring the Children's Museum of Franklin to life full-time.

Enjoy the fund raising for the Children’s Museum of Franklin Benefit Gala on April 11

Children's Museum of Franklin is a community-focused 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving Franklin, MA and the surrounding region. We believe that play is integral to learning and development. With that at heart, we're building an interactive and imaginative space where children and families can come together to discover, imagine, and grow.

Children's Museum of Franklin strives to inspire the next generation and to build a community of intentional connection through play and exploration. Over the last several weeks, Children's Museum of Franklin hosted its first two Mobile Museum pop-up events. We had nearly 1,000 people attend. We are overwhelmed (in a great way!) by the joy and community enthusiasm. This show of support has only enhanced our excitement as we move forward with the development of The Museum.

Children's Museum of Franklin is hosting its first major community awareness and fundraising event, Night at the Museum Gala, on Thursday, April 11. Join us for an evening of friends, exhibit play, live entertainment, food, and conversation.

Have fun with friends: forward this invite on to your community!

We hope to see you on April 11.

Cheers!

Meg & Erin

FPAC to Hold Virtual Gala and Telethon Hosted by Broadway’s Ben Cameron - Nov 14

The Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) will hold a Virtual Gala and Telethon hosted by Broadway’s Ben Cameron (original cast of Wicked) on Saturday, November 14 at 8:00 pm. The evening will include live and silent auctions, a celebrity telethon, and great performances streamed live from THE BLACK BOX by Broadway stars Emily Koch (Wicked, Waitress), Jim Hogan (Waitress, Phantom of the Opera), Tyrick Wiltez Jones (Hairspray, Finian’s Rainbow), Christopher Rice (Hamilton, The Book of Mormon, Pretty Woman), Clay Thomson (Newsies, Matilda, King Kong), and other FPAC favorites.

A premium ticket for the event will include a Celebrity Dinner Delivery with food by 3 Restaurant and a Gala Swag Bag. A VIP ticket includes drive-through dinner pick up with food by 3 Restaurant. The Virtual Ticket allows guests to enjoy the amazing entertainment, telethon, and auctions from the comfort of their home.

Throughout the pandemic, FPAC has continued to provide entertainment in a safe way. From the middle of March through May, FPAC presented a nightly concert series on Facebook Live featuring performances from Broadway stars and FPAC professional performers. As soon as it was allowed, THE BLACK BOX began presenting socially-distanced entertainment outside on their parking lot stage throughout the summer and fall. FPAC recently finished the run of their first socially-distanced book musical You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.

Gala and telethon proceeds will benefit the initiatives of FPAC and THE BLACK BOX. From the beginning, FPAC has followed a mission dedicated to promoting the performing arts with an emphasis on youth development. Through FPAC, THE BLACK BOX stage is graced by Broadway stars, professional artists, local amateurs, and students of the arts. Their performances feature live orchestras and professional artists, and they often provide a first glimpse into the world of theater for local youth.
