High Limb Cider, an award-winning New England craft cider brand known for pushing the cider category forward through bold flavors and fresh-pressed local apples, is celebrating the fall season with two limited edition ciders inspired by some of fall’s most nostalgic flavors: Pumpkin Spice Lover and Dutch Apple Crisp.
Available in more than 1,000 retail locations across Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island, the two fall offerings showcase High Limb’s approach to pairing traditional New England cidermaking with modern, seasonally inspired flavors.
Every batch is built on 100% fresh-pressed New England apples, with no concentrate or artificial shortcuts, and a proprietary cold-fermentation and yeast selection process that preserves the fruit’s natural character.
While many pumpkin-inspired beverages rely on flavorings to create the signature fall taste, High Limb Cider takes a different approach with Pumpkin Spice Lover. Whole butternut squash is split and roasted in High Limb’s very own kitchens, using the real ingredients rather than relying solely on flavorings because fresh pumpkin is not readily available yet – and because, according to the High Limb team, it simply tastes better. The cider is caramelized with brown sugar, and conditioned on pumpkin spice, resulting in a subtle, integrated take on the classic fall flavor.
Dutch Apple Crisp features fall spices and notes of brown sugar, oatmeal, and crisp apple, then blends in vanilla bean for a creamy mouthfeel reminiscent of the vanilla ice cream topping.
