In accordance with MGL c. 30 section 39m, it is the intention of the Town of Franklin to retain  the services of a construction firm for the purposes of preparing existing cracks and furnishing  and applying a crack sealant on properly prepared bituminous streets within the Town of  Franklin.

Silent Saturdays start at 6 pm on each Saturday of the month (except the last): Chris Leverone, a videographer and graphics artist from Franklin, has directed promotional and fundraising videos, and is currently a producer at Franklin TV. He developed this program of films in cooperation with the Franklin Senior Center.

FM #1155 = This is the Franklin Matters radio show, number 1155 in the series. 


This session of the radio show shares my conversation with Town Councilor Glenn Jones. Glenn is currently Chair for the Master Plan Update Committee. They have been working diligently for the past year to revise and update the “Master Plan” for Franklin


The Committee is preparing for the Open House event, March 23. To be held at Dean College, 60 School St from 11 AM to 3 PM. Refreshments will be provided by Dean College.


We talk through the Master Planning process and what remains ahead of them.

Come and hear celebrated Boston Symphony Orchestra violinist Victor Romanul and his wife, pianist Lisa Romanul, perform a concert at LiveARTS!
Join us SUNDAY March 24th at 3:00 PM
Program will include the music of Mozart, Paganini, Kreisler, and Souza.
Violinist Victor Romanul is a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. As a soloist, he has 93 concerti in his repertoire, including works by John Williams, Sibelius, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn, Paganini, and many more. Performances of the complete 24 Paganini caprices, the six Ysaye Sonatas, or the Bach Sonatas and Partitas are commonplace in his schedule.

A student of Jascha Heifetz, Joseph Silverstein, and Ivan Galamian, Romanul served for three years as concertmaster of the Ars Poetica Chamber Orchestra based in Detroit, comprising outstanding players from major U.S. orchestras.
