GoFundMe for Joyce Family

From the Wicked Local/Franklin, article of interest for Franklin:
"A GoFundMe effort is underway after a Franklin home was lost to a fire on April 11.

No one was injured in the fire at 84 Populatic St., but the house was destroyed, said Fire Captain Chuck Allen.

A mother and her 6-month-old daughter were able to make it out of the house, according to the GoFundMe page set up for them by resident Cheryl Hobbs.

“Funds donated will help this family get back on their feet,” the fundraising page reads. “As of right now, they have no permanent address, but (are) staying with family.”

Populatic Street Closed

PUBLIC NOTICE


POPULATIC STREET FROM WALKER ROAD IN MEDWAY TO BRANDYWINE ROAD IN FRANKLIN WILL REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL OCTOBER 9, 2009.  THE ROAD CLOSURE IS NECESSARY TO CORRECT A SAFETY ISSUE.

POPULATIC STREET WILL BE OPEN TO LOCAL TRAFFIC FROM WALKER ROAD IN MEDWAY TO 10 POPULATIC STREET IN FRANKLIN AND FROM BRANDYWINE ROAD IN FRANKLIN TO 50 POPULATIC STREET IN FRANKLIN.

EMERGENCY VEHICLES, SCHOOL BUSES AND TRASH HAULERS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SAFELY PASS THROUGH THE SECTION OF ROAD BETWEEN 10 AND 50 POPULATIC STREET IN FRANKLIN AND SHOULD SEEK ALTERNATE ROUTES.
