Advent Series - Book Discussion And Daily Practice at St John's Episcopal

Join us on Zoom to discuss Fully Human, Fully Divine: an Advent Devotional for the whole self by Whitney R Simpson, which will introduce us to various forms of prayer and devotion. 

Please order soon and read thru page 43 during Thanksgiving week, then try the daily practices beginning November 27. 

Dates for the series are Nov 30, Dec 7, 15, 21 at 7pm. Contact Rev Kathy (Rector@StJohnsFranklinMA.org) for Zoom information.

Added bonus: During Advent, Rev Kathy will use these prayer practices during her Facebook Morning Prayer (Wednesdays - Saturdays 8:30am) on the St John’s Facebook page.

Lenten Soup Supper and Book Study - Tuesdays

Join us for all or some of these evenings of fellowship and discussion. 

We will read Dreamland: The True Tale of America's Opiate Epidemic by Sam Quinones. Available on-line.

Tuesdays 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM, we'll discuss:

Feb 20 - Part I (quite long, so start reading now)
Feb 27 - Part II
Mar 6 - Part III - bring the whole family: a children/youth program will also be offered; both will end at 7:30
Mar 13 - Part IV
Mar 20 - Part V - bring the whole family: a children/youth program will also be offered; both will end at 7:30
