You Sensed it When You Were 4 Years Old
by Pete Fasciano, Executive Director 10/29/2023
Wandering, I wonder under a canopy of color.
Mulling over color, and the rhapsody of our galaxy’s glorious audacity to flaunt and strut its presence.
This is Wonder Week for me.
There is that early wonder – the one we felt when everything was new. We were what? Four? Five? There are those earliest memories that we can draw on to return us to wonder.
The distant momentary impressions we recall – before we were tought – our open curiosity. disciplined.
“Don’t touch that. Stay in line.
Single file. No talking.”
We should never let go of our joyous exploration of wonder.
We came into this world with it.
Let us keep it – and leave with it.
And – as always –Thank you for listening to wfpr●fm.And, thank you for watching.
