| Garnet Rogers is a Canadian folk musician who started off his musical career writing, recording and performing with his older brother Stan Rogers. He released six studio albums with Stan, two of which were posthumous, after Stan's tragic death aboard Air Canada Flight 797. Garnet then embarked on a solo musical career which saw him shift from the more traditional folk sounds of his brothers music towards a more contemporary style. Garnet has recorded over a dozen albums since 1984 and established himself as a "charismatic performer and singer" with his songwriting and smooth, dark baritone voice.
The Circle of Friends Coffeehouse is a non-profit organization affiliated with Franklin's First Universalist Society. Concerts are presented in a smoke free and alcohol free environment at the Society's handicapped accessible Meetinghouse, 262 Chestnut St. in Franklin, and begin at 8:00 PM; doors open at 7:30 PM.
