It happened – on Thursday? That’s Okay.
by Pete Fasciano, Executive Director 06/23/2024
What’s important is that it happened. (And, who doesn’t like waffles?)
Before covid brought the world to a halt we produced programs at our studio more often than we do these days. It’s not that we’re not busy. We’re still as busy as ever shooting programs and events on location (often live) all over Franklin and beyond. Add some necessary ‘work-from-home’ capability that helped us get through the pandemic, and our staff presence in the building is less these days than it was in 2019. Back then, we would meet in our TV kitchen for Waffle Wednesday. It was an opportunity to meet, socialize, bond, talk shop, set schedules, and share skills. Whether at home or at work, family and friends tend to gather in the kitchen.
Here are all the fixins and mixins for our Waffle Wednesday gathering. Every high level corporate strategy meeting should be as tasty. Makes for good attendance.
I cooked up a dozen waffles for the staff, and our tradition of meeting, learning, and planning for upcoming events while breaking brea– erm, waffles – is rekindled.
Please pass the maple syrup.
Thanks for listening to 102.9 wfpr●fm.And – as always – thanks for watching
