Golf = Attleboro, 177 @ Franklin, 149 – Final
– Franklin’s Ben Burgess started his senior year in style, firing a three-under-par medalist round to lead the Panthers to a season-opening win over Attleboro. Burgess had a birdie on the second hole and then carded back-to-back birdies on four and five, finishing the round with a 32. Senior Ayden Doyle added a 38, sophomore Albie Lomberto finished with a 39, and junior Bryce Botelho rounded out the scoring for the hosts with a 40, highlighted by a birdie on the second hole. Attleboro’s Jackson Deyesso had the low round for the Bombardiers for the second straight match, finishing with a 44. Senior Jon Wellington added a 44 for Attleboro while classmates Nick Friess and Mark Moran rounded out the scoring, each finishing with a 45.
