I love the Pond St. mailboxes. The home-made fixes add such character to them!
Of course, I can laugh because my mailbox is in a somewhat protected location. But karma got me this year: I watched a plow push a swath of my flower garden from one side of the driveway to the other. Oops! But I'm still smiling. Our plowers have been doing a great job keeping the roads clear.

My mailbox is so buried in snow, the plows won't come close to it. Some of the temporary fixes do have that old New England Yankee can-do spirit!
