In the News: Franklin Police collecting toys; 6 artificial flavors removed

From the Milford Daily News, articles of interest for Franklin:

"During the holiday season, Franklin Police will be delivering more than justice.
For the past four years, the department has helped out Santa Claus with an annual toy drive. From binkies and bibs to baseball gloves and gift cards, Franklin police Detective Eric Copeland said officers delivered hundreds of gifts last year.
Donations of new, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the Franklin police station until Dec. 20. For monetary donations, checks can be made out to the Franklin Police Association. Used toys can’t be accepted.
Santa will also be stopping by the station from 9 a.m. to noon on Dec. 15 for kids to rattle off their wish lists and snag a photo with Santa. Though the event is free, Copeland said gift donations are greatly appreciated."
