b. School Wellness Advisory Council (SWAC) – End of Year Report

summary of the full year, had been providing updates meeting to meeting
looking at equitable opportunities across the District
expanded backpack weekend program to all the schools in coordination with Franklin Food Pantry

expanded the morning physical activities
coordinating with Lifelong Learning to do at all schools assuming interest

2 family nights, one at FHS, one at Medway
looking at invisible disabilities, looking to expand further
student actually came forward through the Coffee hour initially


c. Substance Abuse Task Force (SATF) – End of Year Report

real strong commitment from community groups and all around Franklin
develop education 
vaping diversion - develop tobacco and vaping cessation program

community based prevention, ride home curriculum came from this; getting publishing ready, content available

to empower parents to have the conversation with their students
FHS working on PSAs based upon the info
