Franklin Police participate in 'Fair and Impartial Policing' training

"Last week the Franklin Police Department provided Fair and Impartial Policing training to all of our officers. Fair and Impartial Policing uses modern science to train police officers on implicit bias and gives them the tools they need to reduce and manage bias.

The recent police reform bill passed by the Commonwealth speaks to eventually providing this type of training for officers. We felt it was a priority now, and brought the training to our staff.
