Franklin DPW: Avoid Frozen Pipes

Dear Customer,

As New England is now well and truly into the winter months, with regular overnight temperatures staying well below freezing, the Water Department wanted to send out a reminder to stay vigilant for frozen pipes in your homes.  If you have concerns or a history of frozen pipes remember to leave a COLD faucet running at a trickle through the nights where temperatures fall well below 32 degrees, this continuous water movement will help to prevent your pipes from freezing.

If you have any further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to the Water Department.

Thanks for caring about your water use,

Jake Standley
Assistant Water/Sewer Superintendent
Town of Franklin Water Dept.
