Franklin Cafe & Grill - "now hiring - opening soon"
The former KFC is getting transformed. New signs are up announcing the Franklin Cafe & Grill. There is also a banner announcing "now hiring, opening soon"!
I ate there several days ago with my wife and son. It was a pleasant experience. I would categorize it as upscale-casual. The three of us had; Fried Scollops, Fish & Chips and the Beef Tips. I have to say we were quite schocked at how GOOD the food was, way over our expectations. All three meals were stellar, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone without hesitation.
There was a minor mistake made, serving one salad by itself when two of us had salads ordered - no big deal. The service was abundant and the prices were lower than I had expected.

Thanks Jim. I agree with your assessment. Dolores and I ate there this past Friday and it was good. We'll definitely return.
