To the Tri-County Community,
The busiest time of the year is in full swing, the Junior/Senior Prom was a huge success and our students had a great time at Lake Pearl Luciano's. Students are busy signing up for class trips and as I write this, our sophomores are in the second day of Math MCAS exams. Spring sports are completing their regular seasons and the Lacrosse, Softball, and Track teams are looking forward to post-season competitions.
We are busy putting the final touches on the plans for Honors Night, to be held June 1, and Graduation on June 5 . There will be a slight change in our Graduation morning activities, students will have until 9:30 a.m. to arrive for breakfast and will need to be in the auditorium by 10:45 a.m. to get lined up and participate. Traditionally, we had the breakfast at 9:00 a.m. and students needed to be in the auditorium at 10:30 a.m. Senior households will be receiving a mailing shortly that includes instructions detailing all of this, along with tickets for graduation. Some of our earlier correspondence had the traditional times, so we want to make sure everyone has the correct information.
There are more than 130 golfers registered for the fourth annual Tee Off for Tri-County, to be held on June 10 at the Wentworth Hills Country Club in Plainville. Many great raffle prizes have been generously donated to the event, including a jersey autographed by Rob Gronkowski. Raffle tickets for the jersey will be on sale during all lunches from June 1 through June 9. Participants can purchase one ticket for $5 or three for $10. On behalf of the Golf Committee, I want to thank all of our golfers and sponsors for their continued support of student activities here at Tri-County.
