"The age-old problem about the Franklin commuter train’s late night horns has resurfaced after a Facebook post last week. 
Allen Murphy recently moved from Norton to Franklin Crossing Road. 
“For the first little while we didn’t notice it (the train), but having been there for almost two months now, most nights it’s loud,” Murphy said. “And geographically, we’re not even really that close.” 
He said there have been times when conductors sit and idle the train and blow the horn at very early hours of the morning. He said when he goes to bed he has about three hours of silence before the horn starts to blow again, waking him up a few times every night."
