Library Hours

The Library's hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The library will be closed Monday, October 10th for Columbus Day and Indigenous People's Day.

Book Sale

Franklin Library Book Sale
Friday, October 21st ,  1:00-5:00 p.m.  Saturday, October 22nd , 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.
All books are just one dollar!
Bag Sale - $5 A Bag—Saturday, October 22nd , from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Come fill a brown bag with all the books you can!

Friends of the Franklin Library
From the Friends… Will you be at the 19 th Annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 1 st ? The Friends will be and we hope you'll stop by our booth to say "Hello!" and pick out a FREE "new to you" book. We will be giving away children's, teen, and adult books while supplies last! The Friends of the Franklin Library is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the Franklin Public Library's collections and programs. Want to learn more about becoming a Friend and our exciting new 2022-2023 initiatives? Join us for our next monthly meeting on Wednesday, October 5th at 7:00pm in the FoFL Community Room. The Franklin Garden Club Presents: Gardening with Dahlia's October 4th 7:00 PM

Someone once said that peonies are the "Show Girls" of the spring garden; with dahlias, it's all about late summer-early fall "Royalty"! Following a brief history of the discovery of dahlias, you will learn how to select dahlia tubers, where to plant, how to water and fertilize. To stake or not to stake, to dig or not to dig – these are the questions! This program is free and open to the public.

Ghosts and Legends with Jeff Belanger Wednesday October 5th @ 7:00 PM

This ghostly multi-media program will take you on a journey through the haunts in your backyard, and around the world. This program is free and open to the public. No registration is required. For more information, contact Mitzi at mgousie@minlib.net .

Homeschool Librarian Thursday October 6th 1:00PM

Tarot 101 with Laura Campagna Saturday October 8th 3:00 -4:30 PM

Tarot offers a mirror to the soul. The cards depict our emotional and spiritual landscape and provide insight into our innermost selves. The cards validate our intuitive sense of knowing and open us up to greater awareness. By looking inward with a fresh perspective, we grow deeper in understanding of our lives, and gain confidence in walking the path of our destiny.  Join tarot teacher, Laura Campagna, for a fun workshop to learn how to read tarot. Join the Franklin Health Department and friends for a special health fair in the library! Free and fun activities, information, games and snacks for all ages!

Genealogy Club Thursday October 20th 6:30 PM

The Genealogy Club of the Franklin Public Library is a monthly program for genealogy enthusiasts, beginners and experienced alike. Each month a professional speaker will present the group with a lecture on a wide variety of family history and genealogy topics. This program is free and open to all who are interested.
