August 7 is National Purple Heart Day!
At our August coffee social on August 7, 2024 (National Purple Heart Day), we recognized Franklin Purple Heart recipients as well as several family members of Purple Heart recipients who have passed away.

Marine Veteran and Massachusetts Congressman Jake Auchincloss joined us at the social and made remarks about the history and significance of the Purple Heart award.
Purple Heart recipients in attendance were: Gerry Bradie, Richard Douglas, Robert Gardner and Roger Gilbert.
Refreshments were provided by Starbucks, East Central Street, Franklin.
