"Revenge was not something Franklin was trying to hide from.The Panthers knew exactly what happened last season in the state tournament against Andover, and once the Warriors showed up in the bracket again, Franklin was not interested in pretending this was just another tournament game.Click here for a photo gallery from this game.One year after Andover ended Franklin’s season in an upset, the Panthers got their response Tuesday night, jumping out to a big lead and dominating after halftime to roll to a 15-5 win in the opening round of the Division 1 state tournament.“We knew they knocked us out last year, so there was a little revenge,” Franklin coach Kristen Igoe Guarino said. “I think it’s a good mentality to have. We wanted to fight for everything — nothing’s given to us. I think that kind of happened to us a few weeks ago where we got complacent. It was important we came in with the mentality of you have to earn it, and playing a team who beat you last year is helpful.”
